These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SolarProspector (the "Service"), operated by Murphy Software Labs. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

SolarProspector helps commercial solar professionals find flat-roof commercial buildings by zip code and generate estimated ROI reports. Reports rely on third-party data and modeling and are provided for prospecting purposes only. Estimates (roof area, system size, payback period, and similar figures) are approximations and are not a guarantee of actual results, savings, or suitability for any installation.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it as needed. You must be authorized to use the Service on behalf of any business you represent.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe at the price shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by scraping or reselling data in violation of third-party terms, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or using it for any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws when contacting property owners or prospects, including do-not-call and anti-spam regulations.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Murphy Software Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for business decisions made based on the estimates provided by the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
